Ang Mo Kio
Restructuring the interior layout was key to achieving optimum spacial flow and interaction in this 35 year old resale apartment.
The walls between the kitchen, living and dining rooms were removed, letting in ample amounts of natural daylight into the previously dim kitchen space.
To facilitate the couple’s love of cooking and entertaining large groups of family and friends, the dining area was relocated to the front of the apartment to become the heart of the home with a large sawn solid wood dining table as the focal point.
Spanish patchwork tiles in the kitchen and an octagonal chiseled feature wall tile above the master bathroom vanity create textural warmth and character.
